The International Gambling Counselor Certification Board has members selected to represent various areas of the country as well as various professional disciplines. 2 CRITERIA FOR CERTIFICATION The following is an outline of the requirements for certification as a National Certified Gambling. Latin America Gambling –Countries such as Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru have legalized online gambling. Peru is a grey jurisdiction while Brazil has banned online gambling. Asia Gambling – Residents of most Asian countries play at offshore online casinos. Countries such as Philippines and Macau display a liberal attitude towards gambling while countries such as Malaysia and Thailand forbid gambling. Special Note: As of January 1, 2021, IGCCB assumes full responsibility for all its certification administration as NCPG’s contract to administer the ICGC process ends. For over 20 years, NCPG has been a supporter, advisor and contracted administrator for IGCCB. That included supporting IGCCB in gaining official IRS not-for-profit status and helping build its capacity through board meetings and other nonprofit business functions.
